While the sun has come out, and there are some days where our temperatures feel warm, it is still important for students to bring all of their winter gear to school. Sometimes it is windy up here on the hill, and students need their gear to stay safe. Because the 4th grade students go out to recess with the 3rd grade students, we ask them to wear snowpants until the snow melts, to keep them safe and dry. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Early out
Don't forget that Friday, March 26th is an early out day for teacher professional development. Students will be dismissed at 1:30 tomorrow.
Pencils
Our class pencil supply is beginning to run low. If you could send in a box of number 2 pencils, it would be greatly appreciated.
Next week:
In math, we will be taking a test over Unit 10 on Monday, and then beginning Unit 11. Unit 11 works with measurement of geometric figures.
In writing, we will continue to work on our test responses.
In reading, students will continue with their novel work.
In social studies, students will continue to work on their Alaska History projects.
In science, students will continue to learn about the solar system.
