It's been a wonderfully busy week here in 4th grade. This week has included our trip to Ft. Knox, coloring our t-shirts, playing with math games created by other students, and an orchestra party. Thank you for supporting your child by making sure he/she has the needed supplies for each day. This has been a fun week, and next week is shaping up to be the same way.
Speaking of next week...
Our special activities next week include a pancake breakfast and school-wide picnic on the last day of school. Your child brought home more information about the school-wide picnic. Our class has been asked to bring in cups for the event. Your child can just bring them to the classroom on Monday and we will make sure they get to the correct place.
Next week's schedule
Because of our snow day last December, school now ends on Friday, May 18th. The last three days are still early-out days. So the schedule for next week will be:
Monday - full day
Tuesday - full day
Wednesday - early out
Thursday - early out
Friday - early out (and the last day of school)
The Last Week of School
In Literacy, we will be creating our 4th grade memory books.
In Math, we will be working with some math puzzles.
In Social Studies, we will debate Alaska's most important historical event by sharing our persuasive history movies.
