Please give your student a pat on the back for his/her hard work during our testing days this week. The students were focused and did a great job being quiet so that other students could finish their tests. Way to go, students!
While our testing is done for this week, we will have one additional testing day next Tuesday when 4th grade students will take the Science SBA. Because of this testing day, students will NOT have homework until Wednesday of next week. As with this week, please help your child eat a good breakfast and get plenty of rest before the test.
Lunch Accounts
Because the end of the year is rapidly approaching, students will need to make sure they have enough funds in their lunch accounts to cover their lunches. Students will not be able to charge lunches after May 1st.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found, both for the school and the classroom, is overflowing. Please encourage your student to check both areas and bring lost belongings home.
Next week:
In Reading, students will begin to read The Wind is not a River.
In Writing, students will continue to explore sentence fluency.
In Science, students will finish their look at the states of matter.
In Math, we will begin Unit 10, which starts with a look at symmetry.
